Need help cleaning pine tree sap off cap

I have been in and out of the hospital since the end of June. Had surgery and now trying to get well again. so the camper has been sitting for four months without much care given to it, Yesterday the wife and I took a good look at the Montana and discovered the nose cap has pine tree sap on it. I got the 3M adhesive remover and we worked on getting it off. The 3M cleaner does remove the sap, but it is slow going. Just wondering if anyone has a better suggestion for removing pine tree sap. It is still soft, but starting to get hard, afraid to use a pressure washer because of the decal. So anyone can you give me some advise here, I'd appreciate it

xwlol xylene from klean strip BUT be sure to wear gloves and do not leave on decals very long. I tried every cleaning solution in my arsenal with NO help. This made short work of it. I think home depot or lowes

Lacquer thinner will get it off and make short work of it.
Don’t use anything like that or above on your roof. Do what the manufacturer recommends don’t clean your foot. It’s not good for it.

Never ever use lacquer thinner on painted surfaces regardless of the type of paint - that is unless you want to do a repaint. Acetone might work though as it isn't nearly as aggressive.

We ended up with several drops of pitch after one camping trip and found this at Ace Hardware. It worked very well. Pitch and Sap are listed

With a paper towel we pinched off as much of the sap as we could then gently rubbed the remainder with this solvent. No issues with the paint that we could see. It worked great on the pitch on our pop up tent as well.

Try alcohol I use it all the time for sap & bugs works great & wont harm the paint. Just have to rewax cause it does take the wax right off.

We had pine sap on our truck from camping in Colorado this summer. It came off easily by using adhesive remover-Rapid Remover. Also removes sticky residue from decals that have been removed.
