Key TV splitters

Does anyone know where to buy the Key TV splitters that convert one coax cable from the main controller into two coax ports for satellite and cable?

One of them broke on mine and it took two days of troubleshooting to find the issue.

Your local ACE should have them or most anyplace that sells coax.

So just a standard cable splitter, nothing fancy or specific to Key Tv?

Nothing special. You can find some higher end ones online but the difference is negligible.

I was able to find what I was looking for online. For the splitters coming from the Key TV controller, you need a diplexer, which sends voltage back through the satellite connection to power on the satellite. A regular coax splitter will not work.

The diplexer doesn’t send 12 volts DC across the cable to the SAT portable antenna.

THE DEDICATED power inserter sends DC voltage thru the KeyTV module out to the antenna to power the servo motors if this is a portable SAT antenna

If it’s a SWM LNB the DC power source can be 21 to 29 volts depending on the system
