2021 Western Region Rally Lanyard Making Class
Once again Kristi has volunteered to give a class on making beaded lanyards for our nametag/badges. For most of those who have attended various rallies, we are accustomed to seeing these special pieces of art usually made out of beads, rocks and/or local minerals.
For first timer rally folks, it’s a fun way to sit & kibitz & create.
For repeat rally folks, maybe it’s time to remodel your old one or create a new one.
New this year is the option of creating a beaded hat band or sunglass holder. (These ideas are from a recent newbie!)
No skill is needed, other than seeing the hole in the bead. Bring your cheater glasses if you need.
Kristi provides all supplies. There will be a $ 5.00 fee to cover these expenses.
All you do is choose your beads & string them. Kristi will do the rest by adding clips & crimps. If you have special beads you want to incorporate, bring them.
The class will be held on Thursday around noon just after the Craft Class in the park event center located near the check-in office.
There is no need to sign up, just be there at noon. Also, additional craft projects and ideas will be discussed. So if you already have your lanyard(s), stop by and join in the discussion.
