Sliding closet door https://montanaadministrator.fo

One of the brackets that attach the sliding door to the hanger broke on the way home yesterday, checked with CW and they did not have any, they indicated that 5ers come in all the time looking for them, any ideas on where to get them?

Our bracket also broke and because it was broken, the mirror on the slidling door broke while we were traveling because it was not secured. Now we have to replace the mirror. Guess maybe the best thing would be to remove the sliding door and take it to a glass place to have the mirror replaced.

Oops, closet door in the bedroom, it is the bracket at the top of the door that fits on the hanging slider, it is made of white plastic or nylon and it is a U shaped piece that can swivel out so the door can be removed or replaced. I hope that is a better description.

Before we move our Montana, we secure the slider doors with a tension rod. Similar to this one: Make sure you get the right size.

I have been able to get replacement brackets from the dealer, and they are made of metal now so they cannot break as easily, leemedic how are you using the tension rod ?
Thanks everyone for your replies.

We had one break because we forgot to latch the door. Got new ones from Amazon. They are metal. We place a cloth or small towel between the door and wall at the rear of the door before moving to prevent the doors from movement while towing.

After we latch the doors we use floaties on our doors. It is the same thing kids use in swimming pools to float on. It is the same thing we put on the bed room slide so we do not bang our head on the slide. We use these on the sliding doors that goes into the bedroom. They make the doors real secure. We also use them on our table so our chairs do not damage the table going down the road.

you can get the same brackets...in metal on the internet. this is the major mistake that montana make in late 2013-2014 on the closet doors.

what i did was replace the brackets, wire around them and then duct tape each bracket....works great.

montana later changed to a rail system.

you can also just keep your doors opened with something.
