Normal Insurance for 2008 3000RK

Insurance is coming due soon for 2008 3000RK. About $765 is renewel cost from Progressive. (not full time and payable all at once) Is this a good price? Called on Good Sam-GMAC ad on cover of Trailer Life and cost was 50% higher with 6 months non use reducing about 20%, total still much higher.

tjuhl,
Sounds like a good price but it really depends on the coverage you have, such as limits of liability, replacement cost, deductible, personal property coverage, etc. Rates vary from state to state, region to region. I would check with the agent/broker that does you home and auto insurance.

If you want to PM me with the details of your coverage, I would be glad to review it to see if there are any recommendations I can make for you.

tjuhl,
Check out Explorer RV at www.explorerrv.com or you can call them at 1-888-774-6778. Tell them what you're interested in. Compare the same coverage.

Tjuhl,

I sent you an e-mail. I hope this helps. My insurance is much cheaper than your quote. CampinCrazyShirley may also be able to help you out. We visited about insurance for a long time when she was down last year.

Good Luck!
Phil

Called Explorer as you suggested, their price was $1002 for same coverage, 30% higher. But thanks for the suggestion.

Just added a 2009 3000RK valued at $56k. State Farm. Policy total is just about $775 annually. Pay with all other State Farm policies monthly for $1 month fee.
