2020 Fifth Wheel Pin Box Failure

I have a 2020 Montana 3741FK and I am currently experiencing the broken pin box thing. I'm on vacation and attempting to get home and praying I don't damage my truck. Looks like Lippert has not fixed their problem. Due to holiday weekend, still waiting for replies from Keystone and Lippert.

RPBraden, are you saying pinbox or frame flex? Perhaps posting pictures. Also, you posted on a 2011 thread. You should probably have this in a new thread. Good luck.

I see you have another Thread going about closet wall problems on your rig.

(full disclosure I moved that one from a discussion of 2022 models to its own Thread).

Front closet closet problems have occurred in the past due to poor carpentry by the Old World Craftsmen. It isn't necessarily a pin box failure (which is pretty rare). Frame flex maybe but remember the frames are made to flex. Too tight cabinet walls don't react well to those stresses.

We had to redo the front cabinet walls on both our 2010 and our 2017 due to rough roads. No frame flex or pin box issues found. Just old world staples used instead of screws.
