Noisy Water Pumps

Why do these water pumps have to be so loud? You can hear this thing running from the next campsite.

What have you done to quiet your water pump?

We put a rubber cushion under the pump. Then traced the lines were we could and insulated them away from where they had attached them against the back of the cabinets on the floor. took about half of the noise away

Thick Rubber cushion, elimination of any vibration issues.

Another addition besides putting pads under the pump is adding some hoses to the pump to isolate the pump from the hard plumbing pipe using a kit like this.

This combination really helped my noise problem.

There is a quiet pump available at CW. About $70. It's a good job to get to the pump and install sound proofing material for the poor results. You can believe I will have CW replace the one in the new coach upon arrival.
