I just mounted one of these on our Montana. I ran the cable down to the convenience center by drilling a hole between the tank vents, which are next to each other on the roof, and running the cable down between them. The opening runs through the wall all the way into the basement area. Just had to remove the rear wall in the basement to get to them. Very easy to run them there and hook into the cables that run to both TV's. Made for a very neat and clean install. The whole mounting/installation process took me about 2 hours to complete.
That sounds pretty simple. Where did you place the Interface box?

leemedic, We had the Traveler auto dish also and a secondary dish we carried for the treed lots. We went the cheap; and simple way and just ran a cable from the dish thru a window and into the back of the traveler control box. In my 4 years of fulltiming in 44 states we only had to do this a handful of times. Just another solution for the extra dish....

OK, Winegard Trav'ler is installed and it works fantastic! Great picture, and we can even record programs on the DVR.

Did you do it yourself? Did you use the Single Wire Multiswitch (SWM) installation?

I mounted the Interface box in the basement on the rear wall. Made a small shelf to set it on and just plug it into the outlet there.

I did not install it myself, had a professional do it. The interface box is mounted inside the 5th wheel in a cabinet above the central vacuum. I is SWM, no B band converter was needed. The living room has the HR24 HD DVR, and it records just perfect. The cables were run through the roof, down the back of the refrigerator box to the area behind the central vacuum where there was a 120 volt plug in for both the interface box and power supply. The splitter was mounted in the Convenient center, then box cables connected to bedroom and living room there. We are having a heck of a storm here in Florida, so when it clears up, I will take pictures of the installation and post them here.

Here are the pictures of the install.

Cabinet where Interface was installed. The vacuum was removed and the power supplies were plugged on the same circuit with the vacuum

Both cables were run down through the roof through the back of the refrigerator compartments.
