landing gear pads

Through some abuse, I've managed to bend up and curl my factory landing gear pads pretty bad, and now they tend to break anything I try to put under them.

Has anybody found the factory replacements or have input on the aftermarket types? I've read bad reviews on the fit of Utra footpads, and I'm not sure I trust the composites of the elephant pads.

I just replace the factory pads from time to time. They are relatively cheap. I haven't found a satisfactory replacement either. At least not one I want to pay for. I will be interested in your outcome.

Brad,
You can get them at Camping World. I don't know how good they are. I found a good replacement in Clovis, NM but that doesn't help you.

They say there is no stupid question, so, I have to ask.

Carol -

I guess I neglected to put something under them at some campgrounds with soft dirt and they bent as they sank. I think the storage lot may contribute to that.

Orv -

The Camping World (Ultra) is the one that has 1 review and its bad. Reading what the guy has to say it sounds legitimate.

Stiles -

Do you get them at the Dealer or online?

The JTs. They appear to be made of the same material as the rotochocks, and are about 10" around.

Brad, I proactively attached an 8x8 piece of plastic cutting board (bought at dollar store) to all 4 factory pads. This prevented them from curling/bending and also eliminates the need (most of the time) to place boards or blocks under the feet. I know this doesn't answer your question about where to get replacements but just thought I would try to help you for a change. (you've helped me MANY times and I wanted to try to return the favor)

Tim,
Thats actually a good idea. It looks like that's what CW is trying to do with their poly "jack pads" only I like the size and price of yours better. Did you srew them onto steel pads?

I used small stainless steel bolts/nuts. Drilled a countersink hole for tapered bolt head in bottom of poly pad so that they were flush....has worked great for me so far

Hmmm, I've been using cutting boards under mine from time to time, but getting down to center them and then pick them up afterward. I never even thought of attaching them. Thanks, Tim!!

Nice thing about it is they are thin and lightweight (and CHEAP) I will simply replace them when they need it....

Are these like the 1/2" thick kind of boards?

Brad, if you can't find replacements, maybe you can take the one off, and straighten them then put the boards on before re-installing.

Bob,
That was my next option. I did try last time I was on a concrete pad, but I needed a bigger hammer.
