Add us to the bunch that use the OEM tailgate, for all the same reasons...security along with the cover for items after unhooking, for looks, and mostly for the built in senior step!!

Well actually if you can't lift your old heavy tailgate you should have bought a Ford. They have springs built in to help us old guys lift then, takes about half the weight off of the tailgate. Chevy has them too.
