I got power from the switch panel on the wall by the steps, drilled down and installed an inside step light, then two outside step lights. Had to do some wire routing, but it can be done.

I was checking my breaker panel and fuse panel for loose connections and noticed that I have a free 12 volt fuse position. I think I will be putting in some step lights soon!!
