Iron smell

I wanted to share what I found out while investigating a urin/pee smell in our trailer. Maybe this can help save someone time if they encounter this problem. I wish I would have thought to take pictures.
After taking out the barrier wall in the storage area I found that there was a puddle of pee and A fair amount of dry urin where the sewer line turned down to the black tank. I could see it was coming from the threaded fitting just under the toilet. I didn’t see a crack or anything seemed to be following the threads of the fitting.
I pulled the toilet and unscrewed the flange from the floor and I was able to turn it easily. I took it apart and cleaned the threads coated with flex seal and put everything back together. Walla no more leak and after cleaning up the mess where it had leaked no more smell.
Hope this helps someone out there
