Bad sewer valve...any quick fix
So after taking several showers and filling the Grey tank to the max, I find I can't drain it. The valve won't open. I had this problem with another rig and could only get to the valve by tearing the under belly. Don't want to do that again...any suggestions?

Sorry. It's a 2013 3100rl. I'm concerned about tearing up the under belly to access the valve

Same thing happened on black tank valve on my current fifth wheel trailer several times........had to pull it out with extremely significant force. Eventually replaced it.

When my 2015 3100 rl was only a year or so one of my stranded cables wouldn’t go back in all the way. Turns out that the cable was expanding just behind the wall behind the cable handle, think Chinese finger trap. If that’s the case you could open up the basement wall and maybe peel back the outer casing of the cable. You’re probably going to need to switch to a Valterra solid cable and valve anyway.

Sometimes mine are very hard to pull.
I bump it in with my palm a few times to break it loose, then pull. Repeat if necessary harder.
I'm planning on greasing them like this guy did.

The video Daryles provided seems like a great fix but you still have to get to the valve to apply it. If you know where the valve is you don't have to tear the underbelly. Make a nice three sided cut in the coroplast with the uncut, hinged side towards the front of the rig. Make your repairs and tape the three sides to the existing coroplast with Gorilla tape. This method will leave you with a nice trap door for future lubrications or maintenance needs.

Your best option may be to pay someone to replace the valve.

Remove the T handle and slip a two foot length of 1/2 inch clear plastic tubing over the shaft and secure with a hose clamp. Pour some oil in the tube and leave it overnight. Take a sharpie and mark the level of oil. Several inches will wick into the shaft. Works like a charm.

I did that about two years ago....works good. Be sure to do it when the tanks are empty.

Replacing holding tank valves
When my black water valve started leaking, I cut the 1/2” plywood above it in the storage bay above it. Cut the plywood shallow so you do not cut metal brace and ruin blade. Do nit be afraid of cutting plywood. I had to cut plywood access one metal brace.
After exposing the valve, I cut 1/4”-1/2” off the discharge side of valve. Remove the gate valve.
Measure the discharge side black pipe.
Now go to supply hose and get Rubber slip coupling and slide on discharge pipe.
Install new gate valve. Leaving the gate valve off while placing the rubber coupling is easiest.
Now replace cut out plywood and you are done.
