Just joining the fun

New to the thread because my girlfriend and I just purchased our 2006 Montana 5th wheel with our pup Jack and plan on living full time in it over here in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

Big things we're looking for any info on would be primarily with the furnace, city water line isn't cooperating and any other tricks of the trade to help make your living successful, especially in the winter.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum! Many of us winter in varying degrees of cold so feel free to ask any questions you have. We own the lot we winter on so we have a house size propane tank so we don't have to run and full tanks all the time. Just disconnect our tanks and hook the big tank with it's regulator directly to the pipe leaving the tanks and heading to the rig.

My best advise to you and your girlfriend is to sit down and try to read all of the posts that have come into the Forum over the years. You can go into the Search Engine at the top of the page and type things into that you might want to know about. It will bring up the topic every response that has been given concerning it. You've started by asking for help and you will get a whole lot of responses but be patient and ask away!

Our current plan is to install a cubic mini wood stove, to hopefully not run the furnace full time and save propane. probably have to have an electrician come install a 50 amp outlet, don't want to short a circuit in the house we are pulling from.
