Tip over angle?

I dont recall seeing a discussion on this topic in the owners manual. Today I arrived home from a 5 day trip and, trying to avoid some tree branches, I veered off my road into a pasture with the DS wheels. Looking in rear view mirror it looked like it would not have taken much more angle to tip over my 3730 FL. I gunned in and got back out in the road. This got me to wondering how easy is it to tip these things over? Is gunning it a good thing or a bad thing to do if there is an impending tip over? Anyone have experiences or advice on this?

Keep all 4 tires on the road surface and shouldn't have any worries.

I’ve had mine on steep slopes before. The center of gravity is fairly low on these things. About all that is up high is a light weight frame and some plywood the roof and the AC units. They have a wide wheel base. I doubt you had a problem especially if you felt safe in your truck.

The low center of gravity is real. When we know big winds or severe storms are coming we fill the tanks to get even more weight down there, but spending a lot of time in Kansas, we have gotten hit empty and everything stayed on the ground. I would agree that if you feel ok in the truck you should be ok behind.

Good to know. Thank you for your help. it looked a little scary in the side mirror but I guess it may be an “objects in mirror are closer than they appear “ issue!
