Living room seating

Saw some pictures on dealer web site of different living room seating. Instead of recliners, it had "theater seating" I think it is called. Basically two padded chairs connected with padded armrest between with cup holders. Do any of you have such seating? Do they recline? And what is your opinion of that?
This was on a 3582RL if that matters.

We sat in them in the Big Sky's that Keystone had on display at the factory tour. We thought that they were quite comfortable and a bit more roomy than the individual recliners that we currently have in our 3700. The center console opens much like one in an automobile for some storage space within. The nice thing is that they don't have to be turned or handled when you operate the slide outs. We didn't try to recline them, so we'll leave that commentary to someone who has. We believe we would prefer this new seating to what we have now.

Yes Bill, we have theater seating, they fully recline, and are true wall hugger. 1/2" clearance on ours and you are good to go. Ours are Lane's brand, leather, made for RV's

We have the "theater" seating in our 3725. Love it. We got rid of the stock recliners and bought the seating from La-Z-Boy. Very comfortable. The one problem with the theater seating is it does recline, but it is not a "wall hugger" arrangement, like our other two recliners (also La_Z-Boy's) do. So, if you want to recline very far, you will have to pull them out a bit. Otherwise, works great. Nice to have an extra two drawers (in our case) with a small table top and two cup holders. Drawer for the "Twinkies" and the cup holders for the beer!!

They do recline and very easy to take apart and put together. Flip chairs over and remove four screw from bar in each chair. The backs will lift off for easy handling.

How does the slide clear your new seating? I would probably get rid of these stock rocker/recliners just so I wouldn't have to muscle them around to close slides when traveling.

We have it in our new Big Sky. I wasn't sure, because I really like rocker/recliners, but I love them. The cup holders and storage for remotes are nice to have. It's also nice to not have to strap down the chairs.

We have to pull chairs out from wall and angle the chairs toward TV on our 3000RK. One of the few things I don't like about it. Would love to have a floor plan with stadium seating for viewing TV and not having to move chairs every time we get ready to go.

We had that in our stick house and didn't like it. Gave it to our daughter when we sold the house and they love it. Lot's of people love them. The way we have our living room reconfigured they wouldn't work for us anyway so we've never reconsidered.

Bill, you just have to be picky on which one's you go with, getting true wall huggers. I know that all the Lane's for RV's are true huggers, some of the others we have seen are not. We actually ordered thru our Montana dealer, the price was not to bad, but the shipping would have been high, so he had them pick up by a delivery driver that was pull a new toy hauler to the lot in Roswell, wala free shipping. He picked it up right in Goshen. We trade the sofa sleeper for a discounted price.

Theater seating in our 3610 opposite the television. Also have queen hide a bed across the back under the rear window which clears the slides when they move in.

All I can say is WE will never go back to separate recliners and packing up to move to our next destination is a breeze.

Thanks for all the info. I will just have to see it in person now. The pictures I was on the internet was a new 2014 3582RL at a dealer so I assume the seating was installed by Keystone/Montana. Don't know the brand, but I would guess they were wall huggers.

We have a 2015 Mountaineer and have leather HT seating across from the TV. They are wall hungers (not sure of the mfg).Very comfortable, much more so than the couch.
Our 2 seats do not attach to the centre arm rest so they are always separating and we have to keep pushing them together. I have flipped them upside down and it appears there should be brackets attached to the underside of the chairs which would attach the 3 units together similar to what we have in our house. I have talked to the dealer and they have talked to Keystone. It has been 2 months now and Keystone can't find a part number. This seems ridiculous. I may end up going to Lazy Boy or the local Palliser Furniture factory and get some brackets from them.
Are other people's HT seating attached?
Does it seem reasonable that Keystone can't identify a part number or is unable to contact their furniture supplier to get the brackets?

You are correct, our Mountaineer, has the same seating, there are 2 brackets on the center console that the chairs bracket slip into.

Depends on what floor plan you have ,we like Theater seating BUT with our 3735MK they would not be good because they do not swivel and I do not like turning my head to watch TV ,the new Franklin recliners they put In Now are dang nice they rock and swivel and very comfortable
