Florida MANATEE at Blue Springs State Park

Those in the Sanford area may want to visit Blue Springs State Park, Orange City, Fl and observe the Manatee. We saw them yesterday. There were about 180 in the springs area. The Manatee can not survive when the water temperature is around 60 so the migrate to warmer areas. The water temperature coming out of the springs is 72 degrees year round.

With the days warming up the will start migrating back into the St Johns river.
