50 Car Pileup on I-90 @ Snoqualmie Pass

Saw on the news tonite a 50 vehicle pileup W/B on I-90 just east of Snoqualmie Pass. Some serious injuries but fortunately no deaths. I just caught glimse of Moutaineer with the back end smashed in.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the victims.

Edit - I found this still shot of the Mountaineer with damage to the back end.

Boy did we luck out. We're further south, and the whole shebang missed us. Just got colder than snot last night, but thankfully no snow.
think this winter will ever end?
Man it just keeps hangin on, sure wish it would end, I'm getting antsy, the wife has 168 hours of vacation coming and I want to use some of it before she retires!!!!!
Sure is sad about the pileup, seems people just don't pay attention to whats going on around them.

I spoke to our daughters yesterday who are in Lynnwood Wa. and they said there were pile-ups everywhere! My girls were moving out of their house and into another one and had to drive in the snow, to get the last of their stuff out of the house and turn over their keys, the youngest one called me in tears, and swore she would never drive in the snow again! too many accidents! They are both home safe now and looks like they are staying there until, the roads get cleared.

Ohio got snow today and parts of I-70 were a disaster and visibility almost zero. There was a tractor truck and two passenger vehilces in an accident. the traffic went from 45mph to a dead stop with no visibility. I wasn't pulling my trailer and really shouldn't had been driving but I had to get my manicure done today

If would help a lot if some of these people would slow down and take their time. Most of the drivers out there on the freeways will drive like it's a nice sunny day no matter what the weather. Also some of them must think that they are wasting electricity if they turn on their lights.......??
