I'm so glad to hear there are Outbacks in other parts of the country. It is one of our favorite restaurants.
Happy trails....................

Sue ... because we like to know what we'll find (like restaurants) when we arrive in any given area, I recently added to my "Favorites" on my compuater a "Store Locator" list of links to locate my favorite stores, services and restaurants. It sure makes it easier to find out if the stores and restaurants we prefer are going to be at or near where we're going to be. (That's how I knew I had to wait until Amarillo to go to Texas Roadhouse.)

Outbacks are all over here in Colorado and at least one in Wyoming. Another good one to try is Texas Roadhouse, if you've never eaten there, we really enjoy it a great deal maybe more than Outback anymore.

We even ate at the Outback in Maui. The menu was the same as Minneapolis except each area has a specialty. Minneapolis is Steak and Prime Rib while Hawaii had more fish then beef. Great place to eat.

I can not find an OUTBACK here in Alice Spring, NT, Australia. Yes I am in the middle of the OUTBACK. At least not like the ones you mention. I have had Camel, Kangaroo, Emu and Crocodile at the Overlanders Stake house. Gosh you guys make us miss home.
Good luck and tow safe.

They probably only serve American fries in Australia, John.

There are outbacks in Western Washington and in Missouri. We will have to check out the Texas Roadhouse.

Red Lobster???.... ummmmm. I don't like seafood but they make a Cajan Chicken Pasta that is fabulous.

They are famous for their "Cheddar Bay Biscuits" and someday I will have the recipe figured out. Each time we dine at one of the restaurants, I ask the waitresses about the biscuits and I learn a little bit more each time about the ingredients and the preparation of them.

Thanks Glenn,

Betty and I enjoyed the meal and the get together. Maybe we can go to Stacys next.

I have found the food at Outback to be consistant. It is not bad one day and good the next. It is always good. Especially the blooming onion.

Maybe we can get together for cards or gaming after we return from Pa. Maybe there are other MOCers that would like to join us. I am sure there are others down here in Florida for the winter.

We have Outback here in Medford, OR but our favorite is Roadhouse Grill, which can be found in many towns where HomeTown Buffet is located as they are owned by the same company.

Doug and Margee,

The following web site will give you a recipe for Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits. Not the original but might work.

http://www.dianaskitchen.com/page/bread/rlbisc.htm

They used to give out this recipe at the restaurant. In fact, I used to have it! Try asking for it next time you go there.

Myrna, the Texas Roadhouse has absolutely scrumptious ribs! Every single time I've been able to just pull the bones right out of the meat.

By the way, we've found Outback all over the country.
