2008 F-350 Super Duty Ex-Cab SRW weight

Anybody out there who can tell me the actual weight of a new 2008 F-350 Super Duty extended cab, short bed, SRW in the Lariat level. Either the total weight or both axles if you happen to know the numbers would be much appreciated.

Hi Gary:
My 2004 F 350 is very simalar to yours... with the hitch removed I weighed 7860 pounds. I guess the hitch to be about 200 pounds. My box bed is 6.5 feet. It's not exactly what you are looking for but I hope it helps.

In the real world Diesel would probably be off about 1500 lbs or more. I am trying to determine what the actual weight of the truck really is with all fluids full with two occupants on board. Each body style and trim level affect weight to different degrees and I thought that by posting the question listing a specific truck (on order and scheduled for delivery on the 10th ) I would get a response from someone with the identical truck.

The only way to determine the true weight is to take the GVWR (front door driver's side sticker) and subtract cargo capacity (back door or back door post sticker). Answer equals truck weight.

Well I finally picked the truck up and went to the scales. From the factory with nothing added at all yet; Full fuel and myself, GVW #7940, Front axle #4800, Rear axle #3140, GVWR #11200. Rear axle rating of #7000, Front axle rating of #5600. This will give me an additional #3260 available for the truck carrying capacity. Not a lot of capacity considering I have nothing in it at all.

Add about another 400 lbs or more for another person , hitch and other camper stuff and pin weight becomes a factor.
