Help!

Need advice please on My 02 Montana 5th wheel. The little hose that connects directly to the outer hose where the water comes in has come apart. We tried to hook it back up using a new metal clamp (the old one was bad) but when we turn the water from the spigot at the house back on, it acts as though there’s lots of pressure (in the long outer hose) and still sprays out water from the little inner connector hose. The little washer seems to need replacement, but that doesn’t appear to be the fix, unless I just don’t know any better. What to do????

Do the obvious first and change the washer. Then see if the problem still exist.

There should be a back flow valve in there. It is probably stuck, not allowing water in. On your year, I can’t remember exactly where it is. Someone will be along with the info. Best of luck.

Thanks. The water comes in still because we checked and it does come out of the faucets just fine. But it still sprays out of the connection where it’s linked to the incoming valve. Also it’s weird that the garden hose is under pressure. Appreciate your input!

Have you tried two rubber washers? It may be that the fittings are not completely sealing with the one washer.
