Slide not level

Even though the trailer is level, the main slide is not level. My question is should it be level?

Level is a relative term in an rv. You can get the stove level than check the kitchen floor and get a different result. Check the frame, then check the kitchen floor and get a different result.

You are worried WAY too much about level. Get it level in the center with a carpenters 4' level on the floor in both directions and call it good. If you have a level up system, calibrate it at that point to recognize level.

If you have an rv frig, leveling of the frig is a top priority.

That's our basic deal. The frig needs to be level and the rest needs to be close. We've never checked a slide.

How is it not level? Tilted in at the top? Dropping down at the outside? Uneven front to back?

Slide not level

Athens slide appears to be tiled out at the top which makes the floor seem unlevel. The rest of the trailer is level.

Is the inside seal making contact with the wall from the top to the bottom or is there a gap?

What year and model is your trailer?

If the side seals on the inside are in contact with the wall fully, then the slide would not be tilted. Without laying eyes on it, one can not say how well the slide was constructed before added to the rv.

I think you are going to have to post a picture of the slide, extended, from the outside end view.
Still don't know what year and model trailer you have. It would help.

I level to the point that all the doors work smoothly and call it good. If you go by your auto level system or a 4 ft. level, you will go crazy.

Absolutely. I place a 10” level inside the front door in the middle of the floor in front of the stairs. I check left to right first before unhooking so I can put any necessary shims under tires. After unhooking I check front to back. In any direction I simply try to get the bubble close to center.

Obviously I an not anal nor an engineer.....

I did that, "leveled" the trailer and then put bubble levels inside the front compartment so I can see both directions. Then I got some Anderson Rocker levelers - love em! put them on the low side then pull the trailer forward till the side to side is level and I'm good. Then just use the landing gear to get front to back right on and I'm good.

Place a level on top of the slide. You want a slight slant going outward from the trailer in order for rainwater to run away from from your trailer. Otherwise you will have water in your trailer when it rains.

Most slide roofs are built with a pitch away from the camper from the factory
