Don Moore What would he think?
Looking back at this Years Don Moore Memorial Rally at Lake Siskiyou.
This is exactly what Don would of wanted....a group of people who love to camp and being together having a good time.
When we joined the Moc and attended the rally at Lake Sisikiyou(2005), Kevin and I were a little embarrassed because after a few years of being SOB owners....here we were still owning an SOB.
I had a conversation with Don about this two years ago at the Lake Siskiyou Rally....he told me that it did not matter what kind of rig you have, what is important is being with people who like to camp and have a good time.
I guess this is what attracted me most to Don....his down to earth spirit and not judging people.
I remember the first Rally at Lake Siskiyou that we attended....little did we know that we were getting involved with such a great group of people.
This year proved to be exactly what Don enjoyed....a group of friends getting together in a relaxed manner and enjoy.
The days at Lake Siskiyou this year proved to be that.
Thank you to Margee and Doug Hatton, Roy and Nacy Burk, Claudia and Don Moore for beginning this ritual of gathering at Lake Siskiyou for Memorial Day Weekend.
This was a perfect tribute to Don Moore, a place and rally that he has had many ties with.
Thank you for allowing us to give our respects to Don in a way and fashion that he would of loved if he was physically with us.
Don we miss you and love you!
