Water Heater

I have a 3670RL with what I believe is a gas/electric hot water heater. I have only used it with propane and I am not quite sure how to switch it over to electric. There is an on/off switch located on the exterior where the water heater is accessed. I have flipped the switch to the on position and do not have hot water afterwards. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
