Pardon the sawdust...
I wanted to share with you a bit of what I've been working on. I can't let Ozz have all the fun modding...
Go to http://s109.photobucket.com/albums/n52/Ozzie12/sawdust/ and work your way from #1 on up (it came out backwards, but you'll figure it out).
Furnace Filter, 32" LCD TV, and separate 20 amp circuit/outlet for my toaster & coffee pot. I redid the water filter/pressure regulator setup too, but waiting on a few parts yet.

Just so you don't think I'm crazy, no - I'm not going to travel with that LCD hanging on that arm. It has one set screw on the bottom of the bracket. It comes right off and will ride comfortably on the bed.
I thought of putting in a couple straps and some rubber bumpers, but I don't want to worry about it riding down the road.
I did the work just in time too, it's snowing like crazy and my LCD is now back in the bedroom.
BTW - it pulled several digital channels even with the antenna down...

Nice install on the TV Ozzie. And it could be done no matter what model Monty you have. I bet someone will come up with a way to make it a traveling install as well.
Happy trails............................

Thanks - I actually set it up so that the ledge on the back of the tv rests on the edge of the cabinet when pushed back.
A rubber bumper along the bottom edge would protect both surfaces and take the strain off the arm. Then all I would need is the strap (I have them already)to hold it in place. I just have this thing about making holes...
That framing setup I used for the tv - no holes visible to the trailer, only screw holes along the edges of the plywood inside the cabinet. Believe me - it isn't going anywhere. Plenty beefy.

Ozzie,
Very nice job looks like a pro did it. You will really enjoy the big screen effect with the surround sound.

Thanks for the kudos guys...I wasn't looking for them, but it's always nice to hear.
Watching that tv out there...it looks absolutely HUGE in that room. That with a decent surround sound makes it quite the experience.
I just put my wife on a plane, she's off the Kenya for 16 days on a medical mission. So...
Now I'm thinking of a little more work while she's gone - like maybe that central vacuum I've had my eye on. I could tell her it's for her, but she'd probably whack me one...LOL

How wide a space did that LCD go into? In our 2955RL the space for the 27" TV would not accomodate a 32" widescreen...

Hi Lije...the screen actually sits outside the cabinet. Behind the screen, the tv is smaller, and that part tucks into the cabinet hole.
The part of the tv that protrudes from the cabinet is just enough for the slide to go by. It was a tight fit and much research had to go into the selection of units. The width actually would work, but the height is a couple inches too tall.
The only other tv that would actually fit inside my cabinet would be the Sony...and that unit is several hundred dollars more.
I'm not certain how the sizes compare with the other units like the 5th wheels.
Part of my success is the many years I've had as a carpenter, reading tape measures, and doing layout work. I had to get creative to make this work.

Thanks Dustytuu...
I just ordered the Dirt Devil vacuum - hope to have it installed before my wife gets back from her trip. A few things to do before spring hits.
It looks like I'll have this rig for a bit longer as we're about to start a custom built home. Can't kick up any payments for a bit...
