James Island County Park, Charleston

I am hosting at James Island County Park in Charleston, S.C. for the next few months. There are a number of Montana units here in the park. I was wondering if any are MOC members?

Hey Dave and Brenda, gonna be doing St Andrews this year? We switched up our dates and going to TopSail in October then over to Bay St Louis and work our way back over toward Gulf Shores, maybe Anchors Aweigh before we head back to Indy.
How's the fishing in Charleston?

Why don't you go around and bang on some doors and find out (if they are MOC). I used to do that but have given up, there are at least 20 Montanas in the CG we are wintering in, haven't found a MOC'er yet, except Waynem and I knew him before this place.

We are here for the birth of our grandson. He was born on Dec. 27. We just got back from seeing the lights. It is a very pretty sight. If anyone is close by this time of year they should take the time to drive through.

Phil, we won't be back in Panama City till April, I have not done any fishing here. We are on grandparent duty.

Congratulations David and Brenda. What a nice way to end the year. We are not near you but sure do love the park you are at. Happy New Year.

James Island Campground is one of the nicest parks I've ever been in. The Christmas Lights are unbelievable!!!
I envy you for working there...must be nice.

Congrats Dave and Brenda. What a way to end a miserable year with a new grandbaby. And grandparent duty is not all that bad either. That is a good job to have. When they get a little older you can spoil them and send them back to the parents as "pay-back".

Thanks Bill and Helen, good to hear from you, hope all is well with you.

We are having a good time with our latest family addition. We will be starting our Camp Host duties on tuesday. Our first assignment is getting up all the pretty lights around the park.

We have visited here a few times in the past, the park is very nice, especially in the summer with the waterpark.

We should be here in Feb. if they don't run us off, we should be on site #60

Hello Fogies, we are here, we moved to site #120, we are having a great time here. Everyone has been very friendly and we have been very busy doing our job and doing grandbaby sitting.

Look forward to meeting ya'll.
