grey water valve

Have a Montana 3670RL and th grey tank dump valve seems to not be hooked up...after a few days of showers......I pull the handle but very little water comes out. Is there an easy way to access the valve?

You just have to either cut a flap in the belly pan and Gorilla tape it back up when done ... or remove some of the screws and try and drop a part of the street side down. The tanks are approximately under your cargo bay floor side by side lengthwise with the frame.

Do you have more than one grey holding tank? On our Montana, we have 2 grey tanks. The gray tank valve for the shower and bathroom sink is located on the frame behind the rear tire on the opposite door side.

There's another dump valve either ahead of or behind the axles on the drivers side of the trailer. there should be a sticker on the skirting.

The grey tank for the kitchen works fine along with the black tank valve....it is the shower one thats the problem. Will crawl under and cut the coroplast and see what is going on.

Found out yesterday that the handle is not connected to the valve anymore. I have a gate valve hooked up right before the sewer hose and opened that up......shower water just flowed right on thru and this when the valve was supposedly closed. Now to dig in and find out why it is nor connected.

My dealer replaced my gate valve about a year ago and on my next trip the valve cable would not work....gate was closed. Had to have a mobile tech come out, and he thought techs had failed to tighten the screw which attaches cable to the valve.he reconnected the cable and problem solved. Dealer reimbursed me for mobile tech.

After watching the tech struggle to get access, and since your valve is locked in the open position, and it's the grey valve, I'd vote to wait and have your dealer fix it.

I have replaced valves many times and it is no big deal just a little time consuming that's all, take out 1 crossmember(4 bolts) and about 10 screws holding the underbelly on and just peel it back and there you have it ,As a matter of fact I will putting a new black valve and cable in a few days mine is getting hard to pull so I will Put a Valterra Valve in MUCH BETTER VALVE
