Adding Batteries

First off "HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND" IF you served or anybody in your family has served THANK YOU!!

2014 3150RL, small battery compartment with the hydraulics in cabinet. I have put 2 12 volt batteries on bottom of cabinet, IF you have added 2 (or more) batteries, what and how did you raise it up above the bottom 2????? I was thinking of making a slider for the top 2 batteries that could be taken out when I needed to service the bottom 2??? ALL ideas and pics appreciated.

We had six 6v batteries in our 2010. We just put them on the opposite side of the compartment and ran the wiring along the ceiling.

We have an installed genset, so space is limited. Going to have to stack them, and hopefully make them fairly simple to service. I’m sure somebody has done this successfully. My old Salem had the front bay open, I just put 2 on each side.

I have a genset as well. I estimated I could fit six 6v batteries on the deck. It is a tight fit but it should fit. You could also build a shelf out of 2x2 and use ratcheting straps through slots in the deck.

I have 6V batteries. I think they may the same size as 12V. I have a case in which they sit end to end, so can fit vertically in the area. So I could fit probably 4 sets on just one side, I think. Might be wrong on the 12V size tho.
