Decals/trim on 2015

Earlier this year we got a 2015 3160RL and just love it! Like all RVs, there are a few minor things but no major issues. However, one aspect of the decals/trim on the outside has always bugged me.

On the slideouts, the aluminum frame fascia is not painted to match the graphite trim on the bottom, its just the cream color as above the moulding. It looks like the trim shop just flat missed getting this. But every 2015 Montana I've looked at is the same way.

So.....
I ordered one of the graphite decals ($60 with shipping from CW[img][/img]) and cut it up to be applied to the fascia below the moulding, completing the design above and below. Probably not a big deal to most people. However, it really bothered me, but then I've been accused of being somewhat OCD by more than one person!

I've attached before and after pics; to me, it just looks more "finished"

First thing I do is remove all the stickers, with the dealer sticker being first to go. Your rig looks great, that is what I call attention to detail.

Definitely looks better. That is something that would bug us to. My husband did the same to the stove vent on our rig. It was the only thing white. He taped and painted the swish to follow through the vent. In our pic below it has not been done.

Cindy,

Your rig looks great! I didn't use paint because I was afraid it would chip/peel from the plastic corners on the fascia. But your comment has me thinkin', what else do I need to "detail": water heater, furnace, frig vents, stove vent? hmmmm.......

All of those are black on the 3160 and sort of look like they belong. But that cream rectangle on the gray bottom stuck out like a sore thumb.
