MCD Shades in bedroom...but valence is at ceiling
MCD day/night shades are in rear den area with no light getting thru those night shade vinyl shades. Wanted to buy and install same in bedroom. Small windows by the bed have the fabric/old style day/night shades and there is one large window with old style shade material over the hamper. The valence over the large window is 6 or 8 inches down from ceiling...should be fine to attach the MCD shade. MCD shades mount to the under side of the top of the valence frame. The valence over the windows by the bed butts right up to the slide ceiling. Am concerned about mounting shades to those valences and violating the ceiling of the slide.
Anyone have any experience with MCD shade installation or insight?
