Another epic fail of this much vaunted design, was hopeing the out the window direct connect to receiver days was over,NOPE im out the window again, after screwing around for a day with dish tech support wich btw is no help at all., I went to direct connect on receiver, dish now works like a champ, why doesn't keystone just put a direct connect on all its models for the sat receivers,guess I will get the tools out and do it myself, oh well guess electrical engineers need to exist, I'm happy now can watch fox news, have a good day uall.

If you have a Tailgater type antenna, that most likely is the problem. Tailgaters rely on the reciever to power the antenna and the more connections between the reciever and the antenna the less likely it is to work. If you use an antenna like the Winegard G2+ that powers it'self the problems tend to go away.

I changed to a better grade COAX going to the Tailgator. Made a big difference.
