A lot of Montana models are built so you can swap furniture. On our 3400RL, you can swap the sofa with the two recliners and small table...both fit in either place.

Very nicely done. When we're next in your neck of the woods, we'll have to take advantage of your skills!

Hi footloose,
Is that the very same 4 person dining table that came with the rig? Is the table fastened to the floor?I can't tell from the angle. I like that the heater vent location in your new setup is right under the table. It will keep you and any lucky guests toasty when dining in and it's cold outside. Also the picture window is now available as you dine. Plus, as we walk by we can look in, see what you're eating and knock on the door if we like what we see... LOL.
We can't really change our setup because we typically camp with others and need all the seating we can get. I do think that with our plan having the big reclining chairs facing away from and covering the rear picture window is kinda dumb, but we just live with it.

Hi Art and Marge, yes, the table came with the rig. It is a revolving table. It was originally screwed down in the dining area. We removed the screws. We like that now we can just lift the table out onto the linoleum when we have company. It is so much more roomier. We only have 2 dining room chairs with us, but add our computer chair and a patio chair when we have visitors. When we travel, we turn the table horizontal to the window and tie it down with straps to the D-rings on the floor (the chairs were originally strapped to them). We just turn the recliners back to back and wedge them together for travel. We'd love to have you knock on our door, but no one can see into our windows even when the lights are on. We'll have to watch for you. We enjoy the wide open view and being able to look out when we dine.

Nice job. I'm a proponent of making changes that fit our personal lifestyles and preferences. Yours looks very nicely done.

We made changes to our 3455SA. Swapped locations of the sofa and recliners. From one recliner could only see 1/2 of TV and that was from the side. Told it can not work on every 3455SA as some sofas are wider not allowing for the slide to clear it.
How nice that you were able to move things around to give you more room and better fit your needs.
