12 V Deep Cycle AGM Battery

Looking for the above battery to fit in area 12Lx6 1/2wx9h. Anyone have any ideas where we might find such a battery? Not having much luck locating one so far. It is for our 2019 Montana High Country.

I use two Duracell Group 27 AGM batteries from Sam's in my rig.
Group 27 dimensions: 12.0625 x 6.8125 x 8.875 inches (306 x 173 x 225 mm)...close to what you need.

Thanks Mike & Debbie,
Unfortunately, we do not belong to Sam's club. But will search for that particular battery. Appreciate your feedback.

Randy, are you looking for that size to fit into an existing battery box??
I don't know exactly how large your front storage is, but we have an OEM Onan 5500 Generator and still have room to fit 4 Trojan T105 6 Volt AGM Golf Cart Batteries. I don't have them in Battery Boxes, but do have a cover over top with the outside vent attached.

If you don't have Sam's, try WalMart or maybe a Batteries Plus. Both should sell the same battery. Also, a Group 24 would be just a bit smaller than the Group 27 listed above, if the dimensions are slightly too large for your box.

Don’t let the existing battery box dictate the size batteries you install. It’s not that hard to install a new box for larger batteries. Most RV dealers will have or can order a new box to replace one that is too small. I upgraded to larger batteries from what our dealer had installed originally and just changed out the box.

These are AGM which release no gas so what do you need a box for? I had 4 AGM,s for 6 years in our Monty and put them in a shallow tray with pieces of wood surrounding them so they couldn,t slide around. They didn,t move. I now have 3 lithium Ampertime batts.

Although not the extent that flooded lead acid batteries do, AGM batteries CAN still off gas during charging. They are still recommended to be vented when installed in an enclosed environment.

I've got two deep cycle 12v Interstate AGMs, cheaper from a dealer than a regular retail auto store.

Check out the prices of many lithium brands on Amazon. They re almost the same price as AGM. They,re lighter, can be charged faster, and have more useful capacity.

...and take a different or different settings on your present charger.

I just checked Lithium prices...if they are less than about at least three times the AGM price...and if they are really ''on sale'' they are hard to find.

When I bought agms 6 yrs ago they were about 300$ a piece and I needed 4 x6 volts. Cost 1200$. Last spring I bought Amperetime lithium's for 400$a piece but only needed 3 for approximately the same usable amp/hrs. Cost 1200$. Yes the converter settings are different but easily changed on newer units. Older units would require an updated converter and yes that would be a game changer for me too. I charge almost exclusively with solar.

Checkout lifeline
Amazing batteries
As said agm don't degass so enclosed boxes are less a concern other then securing them..

I installed the taller 6volt batteries
Have been absolutely amazed at how long they last under load and overall about 8 years.. of heavy use

Cheers
