Corian is not something Keystone should be putting in as a "working" surface such as that in a kitchen. It scratches terribly and you will not be able to remove them. Nothing works. We're tried them all without success.

I think you will find that Keystone did not use Corian in the Mountaineer series. It is a much softer solid surface material. It scratches so easily. Short of a buffing wheel, I don't know what will remove the scratches. I've tried counter top polish and even an automotive cleaner wax applied by hand. It makes it shine so well that the scratches just jump out at you.
I use trivets to set anything on the counter, even my cutting board, which is real Corian, has rubber feet on the bottom to keep scratches to a minimum. For now I'm going to do nothing, but if I were to sell it, I'd buff it off with the same technique I use to restore chalked fiberglass.

Had some bad scratches on the counters in our High Country when we took delivery last year. Luckily we found them on the PDI and the said they buffed them out. Probably with somekind of polish and buffing wheel I imagine. We went to walley world and bought the non-slip matting and have since been deploying that all over the counter as part of our setup when we arrive.

A green scotch pad or fine sandpaper for deeper scratches) then keep going finer then use rubbing compound. I've taken several scratches and gouges out this way.

I used a green scotch pad,car polish, & elbow grease. It made enough of a difference that the DW noiced a difference witout knowing that I had done it. It is by no means perfect but improvement by 80%. It wil be interesting to see how it stands up. Thanks for your help.

The Corian counter is a disappointment. Scratches far too easily

Yep, the counter top SUCKS, i'v brought mine back 3 times and 3 times they buffed it out and like you say , just breath on it, and it scratchs, it's the one thing Im really dissapointed in ,in my rig. They say the lighter color counter top doesnt show up as much as the darker ones. I wish i had the lighter one. OH WELL!

We've been fulltiming in our 3585SA since Nov 8, 2011 and have no scratches in the corian counter tops. When moving items around, pick them up and move...don't slide! We like ours.

Weiman Granite polish is a product we use. It does not remove scratches, but does a great job of hidding them.

Timely post about scratches! Last night I noticed two fairly deep scratches in the beige/speckled laminate countertop in our 2007 3585SA. So, I bought a Scotch green pad and a can of Turtle Wax rubbing compound to see if that would make the scratches less noticeable. First I tried using Soft Scrub with the pad, but that didn't make any difference in the scratches. Then I tried a tiny bit of the rubbing counpound with the green pad. That worked--the scratches, after some time and elbow grease, disappeared.
I still have another problem that I've had for several years: My countertops look good until light shines across them, and then you can see spots where the counter shines and spots where it doesn't. Sure wish I could get the whole countertop shiny. I've cleaned with a Windex and with plain soap and water, but the shiny/dull areas still show up. When you look straight down on the surface, everything looks the same. It's only when the light comes across the surface that the uneven areas are visible.

We have had Corian counter tops on every counter top in our home for the last about 20 years. It is soft, it's plastic but there are no seams to collect dirt. It doesn't hold bacteria and doesn't need to be sealed like some stone. We love it and wouldn't have anything else, but I wouldn't wont it in my camper it's just too heavy. That is the only problem I have with it.
