We moved into our new 3150 Wed evening, 4/22, with the help of Rondo and his wife (Ron and Mary)who so garaciously volunteered their services. (Maybe the motive was to see the new rig)
They were a great help-do you realize how much "stuff" you get in 5 years? After staying overnight in the dealer's lot we headed out for a long weekend campout.
First problem, we couldn't figure out how to shut off the scare light and hitch light but then we discovered that the remote shuts them off--I sort of remembered reading somthing like that on the forum so thanks to the MOC.
Everything went well--after the second a/c was put on and the morRyde Hitch installed that the factory forgot to put on--
Mostly a few minor problems but Paul did find a board that is part of the frame for the refrigerator that is broken (split)--it was worse today when he showed it to to the dealer. Looks like they broke it when installing the refrigerator and tried to screw it together--the screw job didn't work--Paul found it when he took the grill off under the refer to vacume the dirt out--there was really minimal construciton dirt that we found. He would maybe have not found it but there was a electric outlet on the floor and he was searching to figure it out--it looks like the referigerator should have been plugged in there but then they changed it to a different place. The dealer is calling Keystone on this, maybe will have to take to factory but at least they can do a temporary fix.
Both TV's are HiDefinition but the surround sound didn't work, probably a wire loose but we didn't take the time to figure it out. there were a couple of other minor problems like the bathroom door sticks some, and the bedspread is very wrinkled--looks like a kid sewed it together and didn't get the fabric straight--makes it looks like someone slept on the bed and the wrinkles won't come out. A noisy bathroom fan. Carpet edge rolls under when slide is being put in. Oh, the graphics aren't exactly matched straight either--another call into the factory is being done on that one.
We had 89 degree weather Friday and 40 degree weather Sat and Sun so thanks to our Midwest weather we could test both ac and furnace.
We are all moved in and everything arranged. Very comfortable and we love the interior and we are looking forward to our next camping trip.
