I've been putting together the pieces to build a small station in out 3670RL computer nook (plenty of room for it and a computer. I've got a Heath HW-8 for the 5th but still trying to decide what kind of antenna to use. I have a Hustler multiband but havn't attached it yet. I have a Kenwood 7800 dualbander in the truck. The 7800 is nice because there isn't much room on/in the dash for a readio, the radio is under the seat and the "Head" snaps into a small bracket fixed to the dash and is connected with a flat phone cord.

The TV has the Kenwood D700 and Cobra one hander CB.
The trailer has the ICOM 706MKII, GSC276 antenna tuner and wire antenna 2 x 120 feet. Slingshot elevated.
Also have the Kenwood TMV-7A.
The control heads are mounted on the back wall, left side next to the desk. All the radio parts are on the bulkhead (outside wall) in the drawer compartment of the desk. This includes a Motorola power supply and GEL CELL 12 battery from emergency lighting for indoor use. I added a wooden register at the base of the desk below the bottom drawer and a 3"x8" screen on the leg side of the drawer enclosure. Pictures to follow once I get a chance to take them.
I use the MFJ 33' telescoping pole to hold the Comet dual band antenna. I had to get it up high, 20 feet was not high enough, to keep the 2 meter RF from kicking in the AC controls. I use the ladder and an 18" piece of PVC to hold the pole at the top of the ladder and a clamp (plastic) at the base.

I have a FT-8800 dual band in the Dodge and using a IC-7100 in the fiver.

I've tried using Hustler RM series configured with a ho-made base. This was very hard to tune on 75 & 40. I purchased a RigExpert AA-54 and antenna tuning became almost routine. The analyzer made the setup and tuning almost routine; certainly way less frustrating.

Still fishing coax under the carpet flap on the slide out. Getting the nerve to drill holes for HF & VHF/UHF pass through in the wall.

Power is provided with 10 gauge wire to picnic table when set up outside and a switching power supply at the desk inside.

My TV has a Baofeng mobile dual band (very compact, 25 watts) and a Cobra one-hander CB.
I also carry a Baofeng UV8HP dual band handheld in the truck.
I have my main station in a Faraday case, consisting of a Yaesu FT857D and auto tuner, and a Yaesu FTM2600, and neccessary accessories. My HF antenna is an Alpha EZ Military vertical, with a discone VHF/UHF also.
Finally, my portable QRP grab and go radio is a Yaesu FT817ND , tuner and accessories in a faraday box, in the truck box.

I've been a ham for 22 years now. Been full timing for a year now and just setting up a station in the Montana. Just got my Flex 6400 and a buddypole antenna. Can't wit to get back on the air, I had a very nice station in our house before we sold it. FT950, FT726R, Dentron amp, AT2K tuner, hex beam, Hi Tower. So I was spoiled. Hoping I can setup my new station to perform reasonably well.
