Frameless window frame leak

Despite the title, I hope this makes sense.

In the passenger side window in my hallway, I noticed a slight dampness right at the lower left corner of the frameless window frame. It's not coming from the window sealing against the frame itself, but between the frame and the wall, or so it seems. It only happens when we get sideways rain, and have the awnings 100% in (I usually leave them 3 or 4 inches out to keep some of the rain from the sides).

Since it's still raining, I can't really check the top of the window outside, but was wondering if anyone had any advice to seal this a bit better? Is there any caulking up there? It's a really weird spot to try and see because from above it's under the awning, and below is slightly too high for my ladder. I don't think it's higher up because the rest of the wall seems fine and dry.

We had a persistent leak from one of our windows years ago. Originally though the water was from a roof leak. Ended up discovering it was a very small gap in the sealant between the window frame and the outer wall surface. I ended up caulking the perimeter of the frame at the edge all around the window. With your type of window, your best bet is remove the window and install new butyl tape.

Thanks so much! I figured that would be the best option, but wanted to check with the experts here. I'll just need to find a nice dry day (in Louisiana, who knows when that might be) and convince my wife to help me with the window, since it's probably too big for me to do solo.

Check to be sure the outside weep holes on the bottom edge are not blocked first.
If you do have to remove the window, it's not hard. Remove the screws from the inside then gently pry and run a thin blade around the outside. The outside frame and glass will separate from the inside frame. They are sandwiched together with the screws from the inside. Make sure you replace all the sealant.

Frameless

Hey Daryles, appreciate the input. I'm not sure it applies here though, as it's a frameless window and doesn't have weep holes that I can see. If it were a regular window I'd probably try to just seal around it, but without a frame I don't see how.

The pictures are the rear wall window. It is frameless. That picture of the window is the inside view. It's sitting on a palate at Affinity RV. They replaced the rear wall under warranty (delamination on the bottom outside corners).
BTW the sealant Affinity uses is TremPro 645.
They say it's the best out there.

Hey Daryles, thanks! I just wasn't sure about your advice to clean the weep holes, as there aren't any.

After trying several ways to stop both wind noise and water leaks around a frame less window, I checked the interior screws. On one window ALL were loose, some only finger light. Only one screw was stripped, the others were just loose.

The glass is frameless, but there's still a frame. The screws holding the whole assembly together are on the inside. It could be a leak at the frame, or could be coming from the roof edge. Only way to make sure is to get a helper and remove the window, and look carefully at/near the top for water coming from the roof.
