No power to Bedroom/bathroom outlets

Woke up this morning and all the bedroom outlets, and the bathroom gfi had no 110v power. I can’t figure out why. No breakers are tripped although the gfi in the bathroom won’t reset either. Any ideas/suggestions for troubleshooting?

First, welcome aboard! Glad you found us. Sorry, though, for your issue.

My initial thought would be pull the GFCI plug from the wall and use a multimeter to see if you've got 110v coming into it. Possibly a faulty GFCI unit?

I don't have an immediate solution but more information might help the conversation.

1. Year and model of your trailer will help.

2. I assume that you are still connected to shore power and you have 110 power to other parts of your rig?

3. What have you tried?

Good luck! We'll get an answer...hopefully sooner than later.

If the GFI will not reset, that means that there isn't power to it so the 120 volt breaker feeding it is tripped. Even though all your breakers may appear to be closed, you should fully turn off all of them and then turn them back on. Breakers sometimes do not move much when they trip, so just looking for one of the handles tripped isn't always going to indicate which is tripped.

Was there 120V input present at the GFCI?

But did you actually measure 120 volts with a voltmeter?

Additionally, will the GFCI reset if connected to the 120V input line (with 120V) and the downstream line disconnected?

There does not need to be any load connected to the protected GFI circuit for the GFI to reset, only 120 volt power on the line (input) side of the GFI.

THANKS TO EVERYONE that offered advice. After buying and installing a second GFI in the bathroom all power has now been restored. No clue why the first replacement didn’t work, but it’s fixed now so all’s well that ends well. Thanks again everyone!
