Lion lithium batteries

I replace my AGM batteries with two 125ah Lion lithium batteries in my 2019 Montana 3791r. I haven't plugged into shore power yet because a guy told me the stock converter switch may not be smart enough to stop charging them when it hits the upper end of 13volts. Anyone have any thoughts before I plug in and potentially overcharge my new batteries?

Plug in and don't worry. The internal BMS on the LION Energy Safari batteries will manage any disconnection. Your converter may not be able to provide high enough voltage to get the batteries to 100% SOC but instead of thinking of that as a negative look at as you just increased the life of your batteries by operating them below the 100% threshold.

I put lithium batteries in almost 3 years ago with my not lithium ready Progressive Dynamics PD4575K18LS8 converter. No problem. You just won't quite get 100% charged. But that's ok if you are not going boondocking. Keep them between 20-90% for longer life.
Going boondocking, charge them up all the way using the charge wizzard boost mode.
