Roof Damage

We had a storm come through last week and initially thought we just sustained damage to two separate slide out awning toppers. Well, got back on the roof cleaning everything up this weekend and discovered some damage to the roof that went through the ceiling and also a small piece of the roof material missing. Both are less than the size of a fifty cent piece. Question, what’s the best temporary repair method until I can get insurance involved and get a repair estimate.? Dicor, tape or something else.
