Pantry Question/ Idea

Given the lack of pantry space in the 325RL Montana HC, has anyone built a pantry behind the living room TV? I have some ideas but wanted to see if anyone has done this before. There seems to be a lot of wasted space.

We don't have that model but never thought about using the space behind the TV for pantry. If you could stabilize the items from moving I think it would work. We store a few seasonal things back behind ours now so maybe it would work for the pantry. I think the removal of the upper cabinets were a mistake by Keystone and we'll let them know at the next Fall Rally too.

A few dividers and there is a real nice liquor cabinet. Out of the way and no one knows it is there

I have a HC 323RL. It has a worthless coat closet in the kitchen area that I converted to a pantry. It’s about 10 inches deep. I did it without putting a single screw or nail in the camper. I put a 1X10 on each side with a .8 X .4 inch deep grove in them with 1X10 shelves. Raise up one of the sides insert the shelves let the side down and it’s all locked in place. Then put 1X3s in the front of the shelves to keep whatever you put in, in place. I put a 1X10 bottom in it to support everything.

i have a montana and mounted my television on a 4x4 secured in the opening to the tv area via a wall mount. it leaves the entire area behind the tv as storage.

what i ended up doing to secure the tv while towing was to put a nylon strap connected to the back of the tv out the side with a clamp.

when i stow the tv, simply push tv to retracted position, pull strap till snug, and push clamp down.

when ya need to get behind it, the wall swivel mount allows the tv to swing out of the way.
