Sellers remorse...?
We have been planning to upgrade to a newer larger fiver. I listed the Montana on CL at a fair but optimistic price for a 2012 3750. The response has been very impressive, somewhat shocking. My DW works at night at local a Hospital. I hardly ever chat with her while she is working. She called me at 8:00 tonight to "re discuss trading up discussion"! I laughed and she laughed at the unique attraction we have for this RV! We have collected cars, bought sold countless properties, but she now wants to rethink selling the Montana. Wow. A serious buyer is coming tomorrow and she is having second thoughts. "Not a penny less that asking price"! I told her this, if it's meant to happen, it sells. If not we will take it off the market for another 6 months! Great testimony for how well this rig as worked for our family!

We don't trade if we have what we want so ours is going to be in the family for quite a while. Understand how she feels.

When we have traded Montanas(a lot) we have never looked back until now. With the current rig we have (early 3610), and after being to a spring rv show, we both agree that we will have to hold on tight to what we have got. Maybe after all this trading we have finally got it right, who knows.
Like you said, if it's meant to happen, we will wait and see.

Man I tell ya that is one good thing about Montana's when we traded in our 2012 the dealer gave us dang good money for it and they sold it in a Week but it was hard for us to sell our Awesome 3402RL that served us well But sometimes your tastes change and they come out with new floor plans that are just plain cool ,now I can barley remember what the old one was like and it has only been 6 months since we bought the 2015

I understand that but to us they are just cars, trucks, Rv's that serve a purpose they are just thing's. We have no particular attachment to them and when it is time for them to go they go .We are also not brand loyal and we purchase whatever brand serves our present needs. Our 06 3400 took us on many adventures but it is just a memory now.

You being a boat guy, remember the 2 best days...
What did you do to get your AGM batteries to charge right?

Thanks for your thoughts! No sale yet, but they want it! As for the 6 Volts batteries, the charger was turned off, reset and started charging! Why it did not do that when they were installed is mystery! Lol

Found this bit of information. I have a PD4590 Progressive converter. On page 3/8 it says if used with gel batteries to install a jumper to the 2 pin connector @ H4 on the main ckt board. I looked at my converter and can not find H4. Will call them and ask for a picture where H4 actually is. Maybe you need to remove the converter section to find it?
So, it looks like our converters can be used on gel type batteries.
http://www.progressivedyn.com/pdfs/110030%20English.pdf
UPDATE.....Talked with tech service @ Progressive. Our PD4590 converters will work properly with both lead acid and AGM batteries with no changes. IF you install GELL batteries you have to install a jumper on the converter ckt board. IF you have a PD4560/PB4575 the H4 connector is on the board. IF you have a PD4590 there is no H4 connector on the board. But the spot for it is and is marked H4. When you install the jumper by soldering a piece of wire on the board it will drop all voltages by .4vdc.
You have to remove the converter section from the housing to reach the H4 area on the board.
So, if you have either lead acid or AGM batteries you are good to go.

Our first Montana had extensive problems with the slide leaking. When I discovered it I started to make repairs. It quickly became overwhelming for my ability to fix it properly so I traded it in. We took it in with a hole in the floor of one slide outs. There were what I believe to be stress cracks around the front slide and we had recently discovered another one before trade in. We didn’t hide anything from them but were shocked that they met our expectations on a trade. After the trade, they sold it like it was in a week! We’ve been very happy with the 2007 3400 R/L.

Bill, excuse this interruption, but I like your animated map. Give us a quick explanation. Thanks, and I will let the thread continue. [send a PM if you do not want to lead this thread astray.]

I used a program called gif maker by [Al-chemy (I think)]. I had to download each state separately from a site that provided the maps for our use. Can’t remember exactly where that was at but several people on here has used them. I then added them to the “Gif Maker” program. And played around with it for a while until I got it like I wanted it.
A quick Google search for “Gif Maker” results in several listings. Hope that is some help, now back to our regular scheduled thread.

Like others have stated we like our floor plan and have not found a comparable one or anything that knocks our socks off. Trading just to trade is not in our life. The only reason for us to get rid of this model is if we can't tow any more or the repairs become too much. If you like it, keep it.

We did get a really good trade price for our 06 3400 and it had two leaking tanks when we traded it and about 75K miles towed. It also sold in a short time.
