Completed filter hook-up
Finished hooking up finished hooking up filters picked up from G&S at the Rally in Goshen.
I put vales on both the fresh water and black tank hook ups. Did not want them to have air access. Did the black tank with blue hose and before the pressure regulator. When removing for transport, the white drinking hose is hooked back up to the input to keep filters full.
At some point, would like to plumb this all internal to basement and only have on hose hook up outside.

It's actually advisable to keep black tank rinse line totally isolated from any other water lines to insure no contamination.

Looking at your picture i have the same setup in the convenience center and is it normal that the black tank valve is right behind the fresh water hose?. I have been thinking about moving my valve to more of a better location, as we full time and I have to dump every week. Anyone done that yet?

He has his pressure regulator going to the filters but not to the black tank flush.
Hit that plastic hidden anti siphon valve with 100 psi !

Personally I run a seperate hose from water supply to flush black tank, wash rv & truck, not my main supply line.

Same here. I put a wye on the water supply that has ball valve on each outlet. I leave the black hose connected to the RV but always disconnect from the water supply when done back washing. Even have a cap for that side of the wye when I'm not back washing.

I may as a practice unhook the hose at the Y when not in use -
did you notice the valve at the input to the flush connection? That was intended to prevent that back wash when unhooking

I did try to look at it when I first saw the message, but I can't blow it up for my old eyes. The anti-siphon's job is to prevent water from going back down the hose. Especially while hooked up to the campground's supply.
