Ram "Puddle Lights"

If you have a late model Ram (2011-16) you probably have the Puddle lights under the mirrors, they shine down the front of the door and on the ground so you can see to get in. you also know they are prone to water leaks and failure. I'm on my third set. I just found there is a new and improved version that are well potted and sealed. P#s 6830 2824AA and 6830-2825AA. They are available on Amazon and at online parts houses.

Thanks for the info. I have a 2013 and even though i have not had any problems with them as of yet i will take a look and see if it looks like there might be a problem. I have owned the truck for 3 over years and cant seem to stay away from all the recalls. This time it was the SCR system that had to be replaced, maybe this will also be added.

I replaced mine last year, along with the turn signals that were burned out. I got online and bought replacements from Quirk Parts via eBay. The signals were $73.93 for the pair, and the puddle lights were $45.61 for the pair.
