I looked into it and the rubber part was hard to find. An entire new hand rail was about $35 on Amazon.

We also need the rubber. I hate ordering a new hand rail just for the rubber but have never found a replacement. We put tape on it for the time being. Just doesn't make sense but it's a throw away world these days.

Got this at the Central Plains Rally: http://www.amazon.com/Stromberg-Carl...foam+grip+wrap Obviously you can also get it from Amazon and others. Too early to tell if we're going to like it or not.

I used the wrap to replace mine. It just wraps the handle and there is a groove on the edge to make it smooth. A piece of vinyl tape finishes each end. Peel the old, wrap the new and it takes about 15 minutes.

Ours is starting to come apart, but I was planning on just using bicycle handle bar wrap.

Consider baseball bat tape. We used it on our last Monte.
