Residential refrigerator

Want to replace RV refrig with residential refrig. Has anyone done that and if so what refrig did you buy and how involved was it.?
Thank you

DO a Search on "residential install" (or variations) and you should find postings on other's experience installing a residential refer. Here is a start for you.

I have a friend who did. Her 4 door RV unit went bad. She measured the opening and went to Lowe’s found one a little smaller. I think it was hard to find one that would fit. Her dealer had to make some wood trim around it other than that I don’t think it was much trouble.
I know this isn’t much help but it’s all I remember.

Have helped two neighbors. Not particularly difficult, just heavy work.
Trick was sizing.. Found residentials lighter. With doors removed, able to get in. Minor trim work. capping of propane lines. Primary reason both times, RV frigs crapped out. Residential replacements significantly less cost. Neither installed inverters, frigs will stay cold for hours during travel.
