Look at the plastic end cap of the pull down bar. If it says ISD, it is irvine shade and door. Ther webpage has videos.

I still have not figured out how to remove them without removing the valance first.

I don’t think it’s possible to remove them without removing the valence.

You can remove the shade with a flat blade screwdriver by putting it between the bottom of the shade and the clip, and twist it. Reinstall by getting the top in place first and then push the bottom until the clips snap into place. I've already replaced 2 spring adjustment wheels. It's pretty simple once you get into it. Irving has instructional videos on their website.

You don't need to remove the shades to adjust them. You can do it with you finger tips. Hold the shade still and adjust the end caps. One end changes the retract speed and the other end the height it stops

Good to know about using the screwdriver to pop them out. I suggested to Irvine Shade that they needed to do a video showing how to remove the blinds from the valence and she told me that they do not supply the valence bracket so she had no idea how to remove them. I figured there had to be some trick to it...then reverse the procedure to reinstall. Thanks!

How to remove roller shades

I went out to the RV and took some pics to post and see if someone could help figure out how to remove the blinds. Well - I actually figured this out today, took some pics and drew the sketch (stamped it with my Aggie ring!) below to try to explain. Look this over and then post more questions if needed.

Pic 1 is the mounting bracket as seen from the front side (fixed side). There are several mounting brackets on each blind.
Pic 2 is the mounting bracket on the rear, and you can see the movable piece and the spring.
Pic 3 - use the screw driver to release the rear mounting clip, then rotate the shade bracket out of the fixed front bracket.
Sorry about the pic orientation.

No Tools Required

I just learned no tools are necessary to remove the ISD roller shades. No need to remove valances. The shades are mounted on aluminum brackets (Pic 1) which are held in place by black clips (Pic 2)

Push up on the bottom of each clip to release the shade bracket from the mount. (Pic 3) The shade and bracket can then be easily removed from the mounts.

To re-mount the shade, position the aluminum bracket in the bottom of each clip, then press the top of the bracket against the wall, The bracket should click back into place.

Apologies if this was already covered in some other thread.

I just followed your steps for “no tools” installation of a roller blind that was loose on one side. It seems to have worked. Thanks!
