Have you tried "One Way" velcro?
Recently in Camping World I discovered this simple but efficient form of Velcro. It has fuzzy stuff on one side and grabbers on the other side. Big deal, eh? Well, it connects to itself so you can wrap it around computer cords, telephone cords, or any other loose items that you want to strap together. Then when you open the cord, you can store the little piece of velcro around the open cord by rolling it up on itself until you're ready to put the cord away again. It's neat and our stuff is neater.

Judy, I bought 2 packs of that stuff, it's great
I use it all over the place, Now if they just made it in red and green, I could decorate the trailer for Christmas, I got the red stuff.
I've even used it in my hobbies and in my toolbox for holding wrenches together.
Works Gooood!!!

I've been using this stuff for years. This is how we velcro our cupboards together plus I have them on every cord we own. Longer ones work for water hose, TV cable, etc. I picked up a good idea from Doug Henry and carried it a little further. On a basement door we have several pieces of the stick on velcro and you can store the pieces you use for the water hose, cable etc when in use. On a inside panty door I have another set, this is where I store the cupboard pieces when we are parked and the extra pieces.
Happy trails.......................

How exciting....so many ideas! Guess I'm a little slow to find it but it sure is useful. I'll have to check out the colors at our favorite hardware store. I'm sure they're cheaper, too.

Judy,
I should own stock in the companies that make this stuff, as we have it everywhere, Like Sue, use it to hold doors closed, ohhhh, it sticks to the basement walls! Love that stuff, colors, gray, black, narrow, wide, different lenghts! Almost as good as sticky notes, maybe better!
