We did it......
Well looks like we are one of you now! Just bought the dream....we have been lurking and reading everything we could get our hands on
regarding full timing.....I am so excited.....and it's a little scarey as well. Just put a deposit on a 2008 Blue Sky 340RLQ, somebody pinch me.....I can't believe it. We are hoping to be full timing next year and are going to put the 'baby' at a campground for the rest of the season and get used to it.....don't have a tow vehicle yet.
The hubby is doing his homework on the tow vehicle right now...if he does as good a job as he did on the 5er...we'll be good....stick house goes on the market next spring....hope to be on the road by next fall.
We actually rented a motorhome for vacation next week....before we did the deed today.....but that's ok...we can use the experience..and our rig will be ready when we get back from Lake Champlain Vermont.
We look forward to participating in this forum and I'm sure we'll find all our answers here...you guys are great.
Thanks for listening.....

Congratulations! And welcome! The fulltiming experience can be as good, or as bad, as you make it. I hope you enjoy the experience as much as we have. This is a beautiful country with so much more to see than "just" those things you find in tour books, although those are terrific, as well.
Good luck and enjoy!

Full timing is a fun type of challenge. The 340 RLQ is a good unit for full timing. It is the one we have been using for full timing since Sept of 2007. We think it "lives well" and is nice looking, comfortable, good storage, roomy living area, usable kitchen. Things will go wrong just like in a stick house, so fix them and go on enjoying the experience.

You are going to love full timing.. Full timing in a Big Sky is even better. It is a perfect combination.
Welcome.
