Moved the thermostat

Finally had enough, pulled it out and watched the temp drop by 15 degrees. Next step, cut a hole and find a sticker to cover the old hole, or something.

On ours I covered the excess factory hone with duct tape and got the same results without moving it. Glad your plan worked for you.

Our pantry is always warm. Under the bottom shelf behind the panel is your water heater. If the sun is shining on that side of your rig it's even warmer.
That thermostat being in that wall will always be warm.
Maybe attach it to the under side of the cabinet out of sight?
